Watch Our Farm to Table Process

This video explains our operational process, showcasing how we maintain quality and efficiency as a second-generation family business.

Fiddlehead season begins at the end of April and typically runs for six weeks. During this time, we harvest daily, bringing in up to 25,000 lbs of fiddleheads each night.

Once the fiddleheads arrive, they start on an inspection table where they are carefully graded. After an initial wash, we place them in ice bins to remove the field heat. Since we don’t use any pesticides or herbicides, temperature control is crucial for maintaining quality.

Through years of trial, error, and investment, we’ve developed a custom machine that thoroughly yet delicately cleans our fiddleheads.

We offer our products in 10lb bulk boxes or 8oz plant-based trays, demonstrating our leadership in plant-based packaging. Every fiddlehead is hand-picked and can reach your grocery store shelves in just 30 hours, ensuring they are incredibly fresh and healthy.

We hope you enjoy this year’s fresh fiddlehead harvest!
